Mike Todorovich

. He started
working for Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety Office
of the
Secretary
, Homeland Security State Administrative Agency (HS SAA) in February
2007. As
Interoperability Coordinator, Mike’s primary responsibility is to
plan, coordinate, and guide processes for continued development of a
statewide connectivity and interoperability system which is generic
(transparent) to the various types of systems with local, state, and
federal agencies. He
will also serve as primary communications advisor to Cabinet
Secretary
Jim Spears
and Mr.
Terry
Miller
, Director of Homeland Security State Administrative Agency.
Mike
graduated from
Collins
High School
,
Oak Hill
,
West Virginia
, received his bachelors degree from
University
of
Charleston
, and a Masters of Religion from
Liberty
University
. He recently retired
from the West Virginia Army National Guard with forty years service.
He retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
During his military service, Mike served the last twenty two
years as a federal technician as J6 and Deputy Chief of Staff,
Information Management (DCSIM).
In this position, he lead Information Technology efforts,
including automation, telecommunications, Information Technology
Security, interoperability initiatives and visual information for
over fifty physical sites and 2,000 users.
Mike
has earned many awards and accolades during his career, such as
Legion of Merit, Order of St. George Armor Award, Meritorious
Service Award, and various other significant awards.
He served as Past President of West Virginia Officer’s
Association, Past President of West Virginia National Officer
Candidate School Alumni Association, Past Vice-President of
Appalachian Regional Advent Christian Association, Past President of
West Virginia Advent Christian Conference.
Mike considers it an honor and privilege to serve his nation and
state as interoperability coordinator.
